Suspension of Disbelief: ROLLERBALL (1975)


After the Madrid game, Jonathan E meets with Mr. Bartholemew at his boss's personal meditation chamber (the scene where Jonathan E cuts his finger on the glass chimes, thus foreshadowing later events...but I digress). During their discussion Mr. Bartholemew is seen wearing a suit coat with serious prole-gap. Would such an important man shop off the rack?

I wonder how many actors wore real leather pants during game sequences? I bet it wasn't many.
